Adapting and thriving in a new retail world

In this webinar, Jerry Sheldon, VP Retail at the IHL Group discusses what retailers and CPGs can expect as economies enter into a new normal, after the Covid-19 crisis.

IHL surveyed 500 people in the United States to find out how the crisis has impacted them and where consumers expected to spend the majority of the stimulus checks provided to them.

One key insight from the webinar was that for 2020, Food, Drug, Convenience and Mass expected to see a $571.9B increase in spending over 2019. Conversely, in 2020, GMS and Hospitality expected to see spending decreases of $401.5B and $341.5B respectively, compared to 2019. 

The webinar also delves into the core priorities for retailers in 2020, including personalizing customer experience, improving inventory visibility, empowering store associates.
