Back-end Team Lead

Tel Aviv · Full-time · Management

About The Position

Are you a technology-driven manager? Passionate about architecture and design?

Lead a team of backend developers, build services in fast pace and work with data scientists on building ML models, data engines & pipelines and improving our data platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers through the product life cycle - architecture, design, development, quality, and production.
  • Guide and grow a team of talented developers.
  • Work closely with other teams- product, computer vision, and data scientists.
  • Identify new and emerging technologies that may drive efficiency and introduce these to relevant architecture, research and development.

Requirements

  • At-least 6 years of experience in software development.
  • At-least 2 years of experience as a Team leader
  • Extensive experience in developing strategic systems design and architecture plans.
  • Fundamental knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OOP
  • Experience in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL)

Advantages:

  • Experience in working in a cloud environment (ideally AWS/GCP)
  • Experience with data analysis methods and concepts
  • Experience with big data & data analytics tools: NumPy, pandas, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
