Job description

We are seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our team! You will have an already established route - no cold calls. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is driven, passionate, and possesses strong communication skills!



  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Minimum one year outside sales experience
  • Must have geographic knowledge of the five boroughs
  • Must have advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must work well in team environment as well as use independent discretion when carrying out sales agreements and relationships
  • Must be comfortable traveling throughout the day
  • Must be a strong and effective communicator

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and generating sales for startup food and beverages at Independent NYC markets
  • Managing existing business relationships and expanding loyal customer base in order to achieve sales goals by developing and implementing sound retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts to preserve business, and secure contract agreements
  • Maintaining in store relationships and effectively introducing new healthy food and beverages to Independent Stores in NYC
  • Increasing revenue and profitability by executing efficient plans on retention calls to improve the customer’s service and/or profitability
  • Responding to all increases and decreases in service, change of ownership and other miscellaneous service changes that affect revenue
  • Performing outbound customer relationship calls to existing customers to improve customer profitability through a perpetual pricing program as required
  • Effectively negotiating with all customers to retain relationships and associated revenue during pricing initiatives
  • The Sales Representative will be based in our Long Island City, NY location, however most of the job duties require traveling throughout the five boroughs

Benefits include:

  • $50,000+ base salary, plus commission (total compensation ranges between $66,000-$100,000+)

Salary: $50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
