About The Position
Trax is in search of a Director of Product Marketing to oversee all activities related to bringing our innovative suite of marketing and technology solutions to market. You will be responsible for all activities associated with bringing our retail technology products to market and articulating their value to our partners. As part of the marketing organization, you will work closely with the product, revenue and operations teams to understand client needs and translate our products’ unique attributes into benefits for the customer as well as providing client and market feedback to the product team to inform the product development roadmap. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and challenges the status-quo. This position reports to EVP of Global Marketing with matrixed accountability to VPs of Product and Engineering.
The role is based in the US and can be fully remote.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Discovery
- Collect customer feedback and monitor market trends and ensure a constant feedback loop across the organization
- Lead competitor intelligence (CI) at Trax ensuring battle cards and insights are gathered and widely utilized across sales and product teams
- Gather persona profiles and test persona assumptions
- Formulate unique value propositions for our products, solutions and services in partnership with Product Management
- Identify opportunities in which Trax combined solutions deliver Product Market Fit
Strategize
- Work closely with sales and product teams to develop product key messaging, claims and value propositions
- Utilize customer, market and competitive intelligence to help identify product and service differentiators
- Coordinate the GTM roll-out strategy including pricing, customer journey, content development and more in partnership with Product Management, Sales and Growth Marketing teams
Define and Refine
- Define customer personas, identify target market and develop positioning to shape the customer journey
- Apply the process of storytelling to communicate the right message to the right audience
- Create marketing programs (e.g. educational content - product videos, website copy, blog posts, sales decks and other sales enablement materials to help progress customers through the sales cycle
- Ensure customer feedback is documented for action by Product Development
- Monitor product and marketing performance against objectives and revenue goals, and apply learnings to future product enhancements
Deployment
- Create and maintain an up-to-date repository of sales collateral (pitch decks, case studies, thought leadership etc.) and training guides
- Together with the Product management, educate customer facing team on product features, benefits and selling story
- Collaborate with Growth and Corporate Marketing teams on marketing and PR campaigns
- Work with Product Management and Sales team to ensure processes and feedback loop are efficient and effective
- Assist Sales team on customer meetings when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology or related field
- 8+ years of experience in product marketing across the martech, retail technology, CV/IR and/or digital marketing industries
- Experience with Salesfore and Hubspot
- Growth obsessed and relationship driven
- Visionary always looking for ways to distinguish from the competition
- Strong strategic planning and execution skills and can assess market opportunities quickly and accurately
- Results oriented with a proven track record of leadership and taking ownership that produces exceptional results
- Quick to build trust and can lead by influence by the ability to translate between commercial and operational audiences
- Able to work as part of a cross-functional team to drive positive business outcomes
- Metrics-driven and analytical; proven ability to prioritize, drive, and achieve results through self and others under time pressure
