Full Stack Engineer

About The Position

About The Position

Trax is looking for an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing cloud-based applications, a passion for writing clean and maintainable code, and a desire to contribute to our culture of innovation. The successful candidate will be a key contributor in our engineering team, developing new components and features on our front-end apps and implement API services.


Responsibilities

·    Solution delivery, ensuring business continuity

·    Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

·    Contribute to our culture of innovation

·    Develop and maintain backend services.

·    Develop and maintain front-end components using React, Typescript and other modern web development technologies

·    Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications

·    Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development


Requirements

·    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

·    Proficient in React.js and modern web development technologies

·    Experience with version control systems, such as Git

·    Familiarity with cloud-based deployment platforms, such as GCP and Kubernetes is an advantage

·    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·    Good communication and collaboration skills

·    The candidate should have at least three years of experience in:

  • Python.
  • Firestore or other NoSQL databases.
  • TypeScript
  • Angular
  • Object oriented design and programming.


Salary range for this role is between $100,000 CAD and $130,000 CAD.
