Solution Engineer

Budapest · Full-time · Experienced

About The Position

We are looking for a Solution Engineer to further strengthen our Budapest team. Join a diverse, successful, international tech unicorn and work with the world’s most loved consumer brands like Coca-Cola, Nestle, Unilever, P&G and Heineken!

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding & adapting Trax solutions and industry offerings
  • Lead solution discovery process, analyze business requirements and provide solutions to cater customer needs
  • Technical contribution to proposals and responses to RFI/RFP/RFTs
  • Partner with sales and delivery to see final pricing model and SOW creation
  • Identifying, qualifying, and documenting requirements (functional/non-functional), constraints, dependencies and most importantly what success looks like
  • Partner with development teams to specify use cases, define technical approach and write detailed specifications
  • Coordinate post-sales transitions to appropriate delivery teams
  • Evaluate and communicate industry requirements to Product development team
  • Ensure customer success by working with Trax Client Services team for smooth onboarding and long-term success

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven history of playing the Solution Engineer/Business Analyst role in mid-sized to large-scale transformation projects
  • Experience in designing, presenting and demonstrating complex technology projects to customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal communication and presentation skills (web & in- person)
  • Willingness to share expertise and knowledge with colleagues, clients, and partners
  • Personal management style that is collaborative in nature, pragmatic, and open/flexible to a rapidly changing environment
  • Available to short travel within the region when required

Hands-on experience with a broad range of digital technologies and concepts ideally including but not limited to:

  • Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Hybrid and Server-less deployment architectures
  • Integration/Data Exchange standards such as REST, SOAP, SFTP and SMTP
  • Identity/Single Sign-on standards such as SAML2.0 and OpenID Connect
  • Charting, Visualization and Analytics platforms and libraries
  • Mainstream and emerging Database and Storage technologies

Advantages:

  • Experience in product management and development is an advantage
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of data driven business is an advantage
  • Retail/CPG industry experience is a distinct advantage
