Sales Planner

About The Position

Shopkick, A Trax Company, is a shopping app (30M+ downloads) that connects brands and retailers to consumers along the entire path to purchase. We provide measurable solutions for our customers as we get our audience to engage with content, learn about and pick up products helping drive incremental store traffic and sales using “kicks” instead of cash back, coupons, or discounts. 

Shopkick is looking for a Sales Planner to join our growing team. Leveraging Shopkick’s product stack, the Sales Planner will work closely with the Sales and Account Management teams to build unique and compelling proposals that help grow Shopkick’s Key, Target and Secondary accounts. 


  • Manage the RFP pipeline for Target and Secondary accounts 
  • Build proposals that show a deep understanding of Shopkick inventory, performance, user insights and marketing trends 
  • Develop strategic proposals that deliver against client KPIs, utilizing historical brand or category performance 
  • Build proposals that deliver against Shopkick’s financial goals 
  • Lead IO generation through internal or third-party systems 
  • Partner with Account Management and Operations to optimize live campaigns for higher pacing or conversion 
  • Responsible for updating Shopkick’s monthly Competitive Analysis report 


  • 1-3 years’ experience within mobile, digital or retail planning; agency, publisher or client side 
  • Has working knowledge of role and takes ownership of Key, Target and Secondary accounts. 
  • Must be highly organized, able to properly manage time, and prioritize projects 
  • Must be detail-oriented and eager to problem-solve and present new ideas 
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel with strong mathematical skills 
  • Experience in MS Excel Modeling and Salesforce is a plus 
  • Must be self-directed in your learning process (knows when to ask for help when stuck; does not go down rabbit holes) 
  • Excellent communication skills; you enjoy and excel at communicating with a wide variety of individuals and aren’t afraid to voice your ideas. Must also have clarity and professionalism in client communications 
  • Hard worker, who is adaptable, flexible and a self-starter; you work extremely well under tight deadlines while wearing many different hats 
  • Able to identify areas for improvement/clarity and seeks out training to strengthen understanding
