Job Description
The Human Resource Specialist based in Mexico aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for the Americas region. This role will report to the HRBP in the Americas region and provide administrative support to the human resource function as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Implements new hire orientation and conducts exit interviews.
- Creates employment agreements and work with 3rd party vendors to onboard new hires.
- Processes internal movement changes.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the HRBP.
- Support with employee relations and working with employees to resolve any conflict or grievances
- Manages employee leaves.
- Support and participate in staff meetings and employee engagement activities
- Assist with HR team projects and initiatives.
- Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Thorough knowledge of local employment-related laws and regulations. (Preference for someone with knowledge of the AMER region)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least two years of human resource experience required.
- Must be fluent in English.
