Content Marketing Associate

US · Full-time · Associate

About The Position

Shopkick is on a mission to bring delight and reward to the consumer shopping experience. As part of the Trax Retail family, we are looking to accelerate our growth trajectory as we partner with major CPG brands and retailers, ranging from Unilever to ULTA Beauty and Purina to Grove Co., to transform the way people engage with stores and products, both online and in the physical world.

Shopkick is in search of a Content Marketing Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for the ideation, creation, and analysis of content connecting Shopkick, our partners, and our userbase. You will be tasked with video production and creation, copywriting, collection curation, and graphic design for both in-house content and sponsored content from our partners. Your efforts will make an impact on our users’ time spent in-app, engagement, retention, and overall brand affinity to Shopkick. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong autonomy, fervent about understanding our audience and their interests/motivations, and extremely knowledgeable about content creation best practices and industry trends. 


This role is full time remote, based in the US, preferably Denver, CO.

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all content creation from conception through analysis including strategy, ideation, and production. Content includes, but is not limited to: in-app video and lookbooks, curated collections, blog posts, and social videos
  • Strategize, film, and edit all video content to be published both within the Shopkick app and Shopkick and/or client social channels
  • Work with brand and retail partners to produce paid /sponsored content, occasionally working directly with the client 
  • Contribute to overall copywriting efforts of the team, including campaign briefing
  • Identify key user personas to match users with brands and content that interest them
  • Ensure a cohesive content marketing strategy by closely monitoring and contributing to our integrated marketing calendar 
  • Measure, analyze, and report on all content performance

The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Open and receptive to feedback and recommendations from the team and clients
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment 
  • Versatile creator with the ability to develop engaging content from a blank page
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Plenty of video production and editing experience 
  • Graphic design and copywriting experience 

Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in digital content creation with a robust portfolio
